Darwinia House

Hello all, my name is Narghis and I’m Darwinia’s Year 10 SRC.

I am so proud to say that we are starting off Term 3 with a spectacular bang with so many new and improved changes to the House. It’s wonderful to see Darwinia growing!

Unfortunately, we have had some bittersweet news with our beloved House Leader Mrs Bellgrove securing a new position as an Assistant Principal at a new school. We are also happy and yet so saddened by the news, as she has shared pleasant memories for almost two years in our House. This term, we have also seen our humorous Miss Sadler spread her wings and fly from the nest onto a new adventure as the Assistant House Leader in Eucalyptus. We will all miss her cheerful smiles that lay a blanket of comfort upon us.

Adding onto the growth, Darwinia is opening an art club soon to be run by Mrs Hoddinott and the SRC team and we have been working hard to raise money for the Backpacks 4 VIC Kids charity. I am proud to say we have raised $160 so far and the numbers aren’t stopping now. With our hard work and dedication, we will shoot high and aim for the stars.

Let me finish off by saying that Darwinia is doing very well and that we have been achieving a lot this year. We are determined to set the bar even higher and aim for the stars.
