Saver Plus

Saver Plus is a financial education program where participants save $500 and have their savings matched $1 for $1 up to $500.

Saver Plus can assist eligible parents to pay for education costs and also increase their financial knowledge by participating in online Zoom workshop that provide budgeting and savings tips.

Eligibility

Participants must meet all of the below criteria:

• Be 18 years or over
• Have a child at school or starting next year, or attend vocational education themselves
• Have regular income from paid employment (themselves or their partner) 
  *Income from work (them or their partner) - Casual, Part time, Fulltime, Seasonal. Cash in hand
• Have a current Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card
• Be in receipt of an eligible Commonwealth social security benefit, allowance or payment

Other eligible income below:

• Also Worker Compensation & Insurance protection payment can be considered income where they get a regular payment is now eligible (with considerations)
• Child Support paid through The Department of Human services is eligible
• Annuities, Superannuation Income and dividends can be considered income
• Carer Payments has recently been approved and meet our eligibility requirement of, ‘having regular income from work (either yourself or your partner) We can accept Carers Payments as eligible income.
