On Monday the 27th of March, the Year 6 Leaders of our school went to the National Young Leaders Day at the Convention Centre.

On the day we saw Candy Hertz, Amanda Johnstone, Nazeem Hussain and Robert Dipierdomenico.

Candy Hertz talked about her career as a News Reporter. Amanda Johnstone talked about how she made an app to give people who have depression happy thoughts.

Nazeem Hussian is an author/comedian  who talked about how his mother bribed some bullies to look after him from other bullies. While Dipper talked about how he was bullied for stuttering. One day his teacher told him to play footy and he did and loved it which also helped him ‘fit in.’ We also had a dance curriculum that taught us dance moves. We had tons of fun.
