During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
English	To draft, edit and publish a recount. To sound/blend and segment words.
Maths	To skip count by 10's, 2's, 5's and 3's and explain the counting pattern on a number chart/line.
Inquiry (Health)	To identify a healthy lunch and other ways to stay healthy.
Social & Emotional Learning	To have 5 trusted adults/people that we can talk to and having a positive mindset.

News and Reminders

All items from the booklist including an art folio, headphones and a handwriting book should be sent into your child's class teacher.
Students who have not brought in a handwriting book as yet, teachers will be sending out email reminders this week.
Reader satchels need to be brought to school.
Please remember that your child needs a sun smart hat to be able to play outside. Children may bring and apply sunscreen from home.

Meet and Great night

It was fantastic to see so many families come to our meet and greet afternoon at school last week. It was great seeing the students showing off their work and classrooms, as well as a chance for teachers to chat to parents that may not always have the chance to pop in.
