Seeking volunteers for the Kitchen Garden program!

Each 3/4 class participates in a 6 week program, consisting of five 1 hour sessions in the garden and one 2 hour session in the kitchen.

Garden volunteers work with a small group of children facilitating simple planned activities.

Kitchen volunteers work in small groups with children preparing a planned shared meal, setting tables and washing up.

All volunteers must have a current WWC check - https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/ (quick, easy and free online application).

Anyone with an interest can volunteer – not restricted to 3/4 families.

You are welcome to volunteer all year on a weekly basis, just for the 6 weeks of their child's program, or as a once off.

If you have a specific skill set which is kitchen garden related please let us know! You might have special skills in cooking, sewing, painting, mosaicing, building, bees and insects, honey or plants/gardening.

Program dates and times haven't been set as yet. We like to be flexible to work in with the class timetable, weather and volunteer availability. If you have a day and time that is preferable let us know.
