McCarthy Catholic College provides a variety of opportunities for students to explore and develop their musical experiences beyond the classroom. 

The Band program allows students to play together in a Concert Band. We welcome students who already play band instruments, as well as providing opportunities for students interested to learn instruments. Junior Band is available for students to learn instruments and how to read music. They are tutored by older band members. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday mornings at 8am, in the Rosary Centre. Concert Band rehearsals are Friday morning at 8am in the Rosary Theatre. If students are interested in participating in either of these ensembles, please see either Ms Swan or Mr McNeill for more information.

We also offer students the opportunity to sing with a choir. Rehearsals will be on Wednesday mornings at 8am in the Rosary Theatre. Please see Mr McNeill if you would like to be involved in this. 

We are looking forward to providing McCarthy students with the opportunity to develop their musical skills and experiences throughout 2023.
