Join our Student Assistant Program!

Do you love books? Our student assistants help with book loans and returns, covering books, recommending new books for the collection, shelving, creating displays and more. Learn some new skills and get some work experience. Come and chat with Library Staff if you are interested.

Bookmark Design Challenge

Combine your love of reading with your creative side to design the official 2023 NHS Library Bookmarks. The Library and the Art Committee are inviting all students to submit their design for our annual bookmark design challenge!

Design a bookmark based on literature, in a style and design of your choice. 

• Open to all year levels
• One entry per student and one student per entry
• Prizes for the winning entries 
• Entry forms at the library desk
• Size: approx. 5cm x 19cm – suitable image and clarity to fit the bookmark template
