The Men B study continues with the School Leaver Project in 2019: We will be recruiting 4,000 individuals in 2019 who were enrolled as a Year 12 student in a South Australian High School in 2018 for a throat swab.
School Leaver Study 2019 – B Part of It
Year 12 South Australian students in 2018 who were enrolled in the high school study (B Part of It), have an opportunity to continue in the study and have another throat swab taken as part of the Men B School Leaver Study from 01 February 2019. Students who participated in the study in 2018 will receive a letter in the next few weeks providing further information. For any students who did NOT participate in the high school study there is an opportunity to participate in the School Leaver Study by presenting at the B Part of It stands at Orientation week (‘O’ Week) at the main campuses of: Flinders University, University of South Australia and The University of Adelaide. School leavers who opt to have a throat swab will be required to complete a brief questionnaire and a consent form. Participants will be reimbursed for their time with a $40.00 Coles Myer Voucher. Further information regarding where students (2018 school leavers) can receive their swabs please visit the B Part of It website: http://www.bpartofit.com.au in early 2019 for swab locations.
