A Message for VCE Students and their Families
VCE Year 12 is a year of hard work and commitment. It is also a year of goal planning and celebration. As the end-of-year fast approaches, our Year 12 students are preparing for one of the most critical times in their lives to date. Our students are going through a range of different emotions and thoughts, which are all normal things to be experiencing.
It is important that we remember during these stressful times that we are taking the time to plan our time effectively, study appropriately, take breaks, talk to our friends, engage in activities that we do for fun and find time to relax. Find your best way to study and find a way to balance study and leisure.
Our students are not alone; lean on each other and look to each other for support. Whether you regularly meet with a study partner, ask your teacher to clarify information or just need someone to sit with in silence, remember that people are key. You have a lot of support around you. Your wellbeing is important to your teachers, your families and your peers. There are people around you can turn to.
To our families who have students approaching VCE exams, continue to support and encourage your children as they embark on this stressful but exciting time. Education has evolved over time and so have our children. Be proud of their efforts and achievements.
To our students, as you look to your future, know that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. While your secondary education might be coming to an end, this is also the start of another journey. The world is full of endless opportunities.
Best of luck
