YEAR 9 OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

Mid November saw our Year 9 Outdoor Adventure students heading to Anglesea for our end of semester camp. Despite the constant rain, all of our students participated enthusiastically in every aspect of the camp including ocean kayaking, team building activities, hiking and surfing - it was brilliant to see!

There were some delicious, nutritious (and not so nutritious) meals cooked up for dinner on their trangias, from marinated chicken wraps with salad to a 20 pack of sausages and bread, this had the students scrubbing their pots pretty hard for the clean up...

It's always fun to observe the many different ways students find to set up the exact same tent! Inside out, upside down, back to front - very creative! Regardless, all of their tents remained standing and kept everybody dry through the stormy night! Bright eyed and bushy tailed, they all jumped out of bed the next morning ready for another session in the ocean.

The effort and energy that all of the students put into all of the activities was very pleasing to see - thank you! Thank you also to Adam Taylor for coming along to lend a hand on camp.
