JUNIOR SCHOOL PRODUCTION

Well 2017 has come to an end and so has our first ever Junior School Production ‘Disney’s Peter Pan Jnr’. I can’t express how proud I am of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by our junior students and our senior leaders. The season was almost completely sold out, which is a testament to the support we received from you the FCC community.

I would like to pass on a massive thank you to our Production team, lead by Director Madeleine Kerr, Musical Director Jocelyn Jensen and Production Manager Toby Thomas, who all gave up hours of their own time to put this show together in only 8 short weeks. Behind them were a cavalcade of students in a variety of teams, who played an integral part in putting together this fabulous show. The set and costumes were almost completed designed and created by our student teams and for anyone who saw the show, I’m sure you would agree, it looked phenomenal.

I hope this will be the start of a new theatre tradition at our school, grounded in student leadership, initiative and teamwork.

Thank you to all of the parents and teachers who made this production possible, especially Tahnia Trusler, Paul Santzaridis, Glen & Georgie Barrow, Halia Kemp-Mykyta, The Friends of FCC, Steph Van Den Hoff, Malcolm Fretz, Emma Schmidt, Margaret Erickson and the FCC Music Department.
