Summer works - know your travel choices
MESSAGE FROM PUBLIC TRANSPORT VICTORIA
From Tuesday 26 December to Monday 29 January 2018, a summer construction blitz will deliver major road and rail infrastructure upgrades that may disrupt your journey.
During this time we encourage you to consider your need to travel or allow more time to complete your journey.
Major service changes will affect the following lines and routes:
Cranbourne and Pakenham lines
Buses replace trains between Flinders Street and Westall stations between Tuesday 2 January and Tuesday 9 January.
Buses replace train services between Caulfield and Dandenong stations between Wednesday 10 January and Wednesday 17 January.
Frankston line
Buses replace trains between Flinders Street and Moorabbin stations between Tuesday 2 January and Tuesday 9 January.
Hurstbridge line
Buses replace trains between Clifton Hill and Macleod/Greensborough stations between Thursday 18 January and Tuesday 23 January.
South Morang
Buses replace trains between Epping Station and South Morang stations between Friday 12 January and Sunday 14 January.
Tram routes 1 and 6
Service alterations to route 1 and 6 trams on Lygon Street between Wednesday 3 January and Tuesday 16 January.
V/Line
Ararat line: Coaches replace trains between Wednesday 27 December and Friday 29 December.
Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines: Coaches replace trains on sections of the line between Tuesday 2 January and Wednesday 17 January.
Maryborough line: Coaches replace trains between Wednesday 27 December and Saturday 30 December.
Seymour and Shepparton lines: Coaches replace trains between Saturday 13 January and Sunday 14 January.
Hoddle Street lane closures
Full road closures between Eastern Freeway and Victoria Parade between Sunday 7 January and Sunday 14 January.
Lane closures between Eastern Freeway and Vere Street between Monday 15 January and Mid-2018
Local and public transport access will be maintained throughout the works.
