SHEPPARTON EDUCATION PLAN

You may have seen coverage in the local media regarding the development of a "Shepparton Education Plan”. This begins with education provision at the secondary school level, and will be followed with work occuring  in the Primary and Early childhood sectors. There will be opportunities for the broader community to be involved in the consultation phase commencing soon. I expect more details to be available in the weeks ahead.

END OF SEMESTER REPORTS

Our teachers are in the process of completing end-of-semester reports. These reports have taken on a brand new format this semester with all reports containing a unit result (S/N), assessment tasks (A+ to E), outcomes and work habits (C/U/S/R). For the first time there will be no comments. Students and parents have received comments during the semester in the form of online feedback and progressive reports as well as our popular SPA reports. The end-of-semester reports will be uploaded as a PDF document to the XUNO Parent Portal for parents to access at the end of the last week of term.

XUNO UPDATES

The software developers at XUNO are continually making improvements to the program. Did you know that:

  • Parents and Students can now click on the Completed Assignments button in the Portal! This will take them to a summary page of the Completed Assignments and Tasks.
  • When viewing a class in the Portal, we have added a little email icon next to the teacher’s name. This will allow you to email the teacher.

Hopefully parents will find these changes make for a smoother XUNO experience.
