Overdue Books

Students have a 3 week loan period for books they borrow. After that time, they are asked to return or renew these books.

Unfortunately, despite weekly reminders by their Home Group teachers, many students are NOT returning books, which means other students cannot borrow them to read.

Today, overdue notices to many  parents/guardians have been emailed, as another way to have students take responsibility and return books.

Please check your emails to see if your student has ‘overdues”. Some emails have bounced back because the email address is incorrect, no longer valid or the mailbox is full. Could you please ensure that the College has your correct details, as this is the main form of communication between the Library and parents/guardians.

Just a reminder that if a student has damaged or lost a book, then he/she will be asked to pay for it. Any further borrowing is not available, e.g. for English class, until payment is made to the main office.
