Please put in your diaries our Annual Mother’s Day Breakfast on Friday 11 May. It would be great to see as many of our Mothers, Grandmothers and Caregivers at the, breakfast as possible. It will begin at approximately 8:30am. There will also be a Mother’s Day stall following for students to purchase Mother’s Day gifts. Invitations went home yesterday and need to be returned as soon as possible for catering purposes.
NAPLAN testing will take place on Tuesday 15, Thursday 17, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 May. Students will sit tests for both Literacy and Numeracy over the 4 days. Please refrain from making appointments during school time while these tests are on. It is important that your child is available on the day unless they are unwell. In the case of illness students will sit the test the following day at the most convenient time.
Could you please remind your child that students need to bring Epi Pens and Ventolin sprays with them to Sport and other activities when we leave school. We always have emergency supplies with us in the First Aid Kits, but it is essential for your child’s safety that they are encouraged and regularly reminded to bring their own if a Practioner has identified them as needing them. If you have not notified the school about changes in your child’s medical needs please do so as soon as possible.
Students should be in full school winter uniform as of 1 June. If you have any issues with this or your child is out of uniform for a particular reason, could you please send in a note to their classroom teacher or speak to Mrs Dal Santo. This includes ties. At the start of Term 2 they may wear their winter uniform, however, they must be in full uniform – not a mix of Summer and Winter.
