This year, something a bit different
Tax Time Letter from the Principal and Thrive Fund Chair
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Generally around this time of year we write to families inviting you to donate to our Thrive Fund.
However, with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic affecting many of us, we understand that 2020 may not be the year for you to financially donate to Thrive. That’s fine.
It’s been a hard time and many of us have been challenged emotionally, socially and economically in recent months. But, while we agonised about whether to even write to you at all this year, we have also been overwhelmed to have heard from several families extending the offer of assistance to other community members who may be doing it tough.
So, we decided to write to you after all, for two reasons:
Also, we didn’t want to waste an opportunity to say thank you and to let you know about some of the great stuff that the Thrive Fund has been up to lately…
Information on each of the Funds making up Thrive and how to donate are set out overleaf and obviously we would welcome any donation that you are able to make to the school. Most of our fundraising events have had to be cancelled this year, so we would be particularly grateful!
However, more importantly, if you are experiencing financial hardship, please reach out. Please contact the school on 03 9488 2300 to see how we can support you.
Thank you again for your ongoing support,
Sue Harrap Liza Grage-Perry
