We Are Back!

We are back and it feels great. The students are excited and there is a positive vibe in the air. 

Next week are virtual parent teacher interviews. This is a chance for you (parents) to ask questions about how your child's learning is going, normally, but we are in a unique position. Never before have we had such a partnership in teaching and learning where you (the parent) got to see first hand where your child was at. You were able to see your child's challenges and their passions.

So my questions to you are:

What did you notice about the way your child learns maths?

What did you notice about the way you learned maths when you were a child?

How confident do you feel after remote learning, in helping your child at home with maths?

We are very interested in your responses to helping your child with mathematics and your attitude towards mathematics. The CSPS Mathematics Team will be sending out a very short survey soon to gather baseline data on community attitudes towards mathematics. Keep a look out on Compass for the survey.

Our Maths Team is looking at fun and creative ways to include our school community in maths education. You will see this launch in early term 3!
