Bread Tags

In the senior school we have been collecting bread tags to use as counters. We do this to help the environment and lessen the waste in our population.  You can help us collect more bread tags by bringing in the bread tags you have collected at home, to give them to Miss J in class 6A.

Thank you for reading.

Throughout the 8 weeks of Remote Learning the isea icare team have been working hard to research everything about the ocean and marine life. Due to Covid-19 we participated in an online peer teaching workshop, we discussed the importance of using reusable cups, bags, straws and cutlery as well as using eco-friendly products.

An eco-friendly product is a product that isn't bad for the environment, it could be using a bar of soap instead of liquid soap in a plastic bottle, it's a cheaper alternative as well. I strongly encourage you and everyone else in your family to use eco-friendly products.

We have also talked about the horrible effect that rubbish has on sea animals. Did you know that around 100,000 marine animals die from plastic pollution each year! This is a concerning amount of animals that die but to prevent this you just need to put your rubbish in the bin - easy!

So please do your part for the environment and one day we hope the whole world will hopefully be pollution free.
