Japanese

We have had a great start to the year in Japanese, with lots of language and cultural experiences already. 

This year, we are extremely fortunate to welcome Noriko Schwarz as our Language Assistant. She is working predominantly across classes at the Scotsburn campus and Grade 5/6 at the Buninyong campus. Noriko has already been providing valuable language opportunities across the classes in which she works, and we look forward to working closely with her throughout the year.

Japan Trip

We are hoping to restart our Japan trip in 2024! Our first step is to generate interest from families who have a student in Grade 5 or 6 next year who might be interested in attending. It is likely that the cost of the trip will be in the vicinity of $4000. 

If the Japan trip is something that your child might wish to attend, please email Leah Cray at leah.cray@education.vic.gov.au to register. If we gain enough interest, we will begin to investigate actual costs and information in earnest. 

Please note that this is simply an expression of interest at this stage, as a minimum number of students would be required to make the trip viable.
