Congratulations!  

We would like to congratulate the following students on being selected as our Art and Technology Captains for 2023. We had a large amount of applicants who were all incredible and we thank them for applying.

A Word from our New Captains

Hey Wantirna! I'm Layla and I am your Year 9 Art and Technology captain; I look forward to running workshops or coming up with things that involve your interests this year. I personally am passionate about fashion design and photography; I can't wait to share my love for Art and Tech subjects with all of the students here at WC and I hope I get a chance to work with you all sometime soon. - Layla Gordon  

Being an art and technology captain at Wantirna college is an honour, I am looking forward in making this school a happy and creative place for all of us. - Yini Chen 

I’m Zahara! I went for Art Captain for the fact that I love doing creative things. Being an art captain allows me to run/organise workshops, create creative displays and keep the art rooms nice, clean, and safe! I honestly can’t wait to help out and run workshops around the school making this place more creative and fun for everyone! -Zahara Paulger

I wanted to be become one of the arts and technology captains to help expand my leadership skills while doing something I love. I look forward to challenging myself further and helping others do the same. - Charlotte Trinh
