Catholic Education Week
Last Friday March 17th March, Annie and I accompanied the year six School Leaders and Social Justice Leaders - Olivia B, Jessica, Holly, Ava, Olivia S and Georgia to the city for Catholic Education Week. Catholic Education Week is an opportunity for all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne to celebrate their Catholic identity, the pivotal role they play within their local community and the strength of the sector.
The theme this year is: Forming lives of faith, hope and love in the light of Christ.
We celebrated St Patrick's Day mass at St Patrick's Cathedral and afterwards headed to Treasury Gardens for a student led concert. The leaders thoroughly enjoyed their day out in the city, seeing all the Catholic schools in Melbourne celebrating in one place.
