Kingston Libraries - Story Lines winners and NaNoWriMo

The Story Lines writing competition has been run and won and the winning entries are now available to read on our website here - kingston.vic.gov.au/library/Kids-Place/Kids-Activities-2/Story-Lines-Writing-Comp.

We received 143 entries from the young writers of Kingston (ages 5 to 16) – we certainly have some talented aspiring authors out there. Congratulations to all! The 4 first-place entries will be added to our Short Story Dispensers, while all winners plus a selection of other shortlisted ones will be collated and published in a book.

November is National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo. Kingston Libraries is getting involved for the first time with a series of free writing workshops and events for kids, teens and adults. You can find out more information here - kingston.vic.gov.au/library/Whats-On/NaNoWriMo  

We are still offering Click & Collect from Cheltenham, Parkdale, Patterson Lakes and Clarinda libraries, while we hope to reopen to the public on Monday 8 November (to be confirmed).
