Anti-Poverty Awareness BBQ

The Low Income Action Group presents Anti-Poverty Awareness BBQ on Saturday 23/10 from 1:00-3:00pm at Rotary Park, 1 Beach Rd, Christies Beach. Free Sausage Sizzle plus support services provided by Foodbank, Puddle Jumpers, Share the Dignity, Real Time Heart -Based, The Stables Christian Centre, Soroptimists Sl, Thread Together and more. Free give aways, useful information and more.

 

Brain Boost

Brain Boost group are wellbeing sessions for children aged 5-10yrs and are held weekly at Uniting Communities. This 6 week program uses fun activities to support children to learn skills in: stress reduction, muscle relaxation, self-regulation, sharpening senses, increasing concentration, acceptance, gratitude and optimism and forming positive relationships with themselves and others. Halloween Market

Morphett Vale Youth Club are holding a Fundraising Fete on Sunday 31/10 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Hackham East Primary School, Collins Parade, Hackham. Autism SA's Family Workshops

Family Workshops for parents, caregivers and individuals on the spectrum. These workshops are designed for any family member or carer that supports an individual on the autism spectrum as well as for autistic individuals.

Stepping Up To Gaming

Is your family having issues with online gaming? Stepping Up to Gaming is a therapeutic group for young people (11-17yrs) and their parents/caregivers. It helps parents and their children establish a balanced approach to online gaming.  Join us for 4 week sessions with a light dinner provided.  Held on Thursday 4/11, 11/11, 18/11 & 25/11 from 5:30-7:30pm at Relationships Australia SA, Level 5, Westfield Marion Shopping Centre, 297 Diagonal Rd, Oaklands Park. Building Coping Skills

Building Coping Skills is a FREE workshop that helps you as parents and carers to support your child or young person's resilience. Our workshops are full of helpful information with a choice of simple, practical strategies that each family can adapt for their own parenting situations. My Time

MyTime is a FREE program for mums, dads, grandparents and anyone caring for a child up to the age of 16 with a disability, chronic medical condition or special needs. The program provides carers "time out". Relax and socialise sharing ideas with others in similar situations, fun activities (including massage, manicures, craft and more).  Held at Hackham West Primary School, Glynville Dr, Hackham West each Monday during school term from 10:15am-12:15pm. A free 6 week group for women who have experience relationship trauma in the past and now want to; increase their personal growth and build resilience, improve their conflict management and assertiveness skills, develop healthy coping skills and make positive choices, have healthier future relationship, make hopes and dreams become reality through goal planning and live a happier and more fulfilling life.  To be held in Hackham on Thursday starting on 4/11 from 12:00-2:30pm.
