Kindergarten Enrolments for 2022

Enrolments for 2022 are now open.  If you would like an enrolment package, please contact the school office. 

Please note, that until enrolment paperwork is received at the school office, we can not hold places for Kindergarten 2022.  Therefore, if you currently have a child at St Mary's and have a younger sibling starting Kinder next year, please let the school office know as soon as possible.

Edwards Buses for Students

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has rolled out the Transport Connect Bus (TCB) Program to Armidale and is going live, delivering state of the art technology to rural and regional NSW to help customers plan their journey and receive real-time trip updates for buses. Students and parents now have the ability to plan their journey to and from school, and to track the location of the bus and estimated arrival times.  Please refer to the flyer below.

Students Departing St Mary’s At The End Of This Term

While we have had many new families seeking enrolment for 2022, we have letters from families who are moving and will not be returning to St Mary’s next year.  We would like to thank these families for their support and wish those students every blessing for the future. The process for all students departing from the school is:

• Parents/carers advise the principal in writing of the date that their daughter/son is leaving and provide the name of their new school and their new residential address.  Please note this is a legal requirement. 

• Complete the Student Exit Form.

• Parents/carers pay any outstanding balance on school or other fees and arrange the return of school resources such as library books, home readers.

If your child will not be returning to St Mary's in 2022 and you have not yet informed the school please contact the school office so we can send the appropriate documentation to you. 

Canteen News

On Monday, 6 December we will be starting to use Compass for Canteen ordering.  To place an order click on the "Canteen" menu option on your Compass app and follow the prompts.  If you need any assistance, please contact the office staff.   

Clothing Pool

With the latest COVID restrictions we are unable to open the Clothing Pool.  Please contact the school office on 6772 4441 or smaadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au if there are uniform items you require from the Clothing Pool and we will check availability for you.  

Please make sure that you check and label or re-label clothing items so we can return items to their owners. Also please remember to rename items purchased from the Clothing Pool - if the previous owner's name is still on it, we will send it home with them!

We continue to find many items of unlabelled uniforms, often brand new, in our lost property baskets.  It is impossible to return these items to students and unnamed items are donated to the clothing pool.
