2F Peppermint
Room 2F is settling in with yet another new teacher - Karen! We have been getting to know each other and becoming friends, reading fun stories like "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "Dear Zoo", singing songs, playing games and learning about sounds and numbers.
Phew - it's exhausting!

2E Peppermint Preps!!
We have had a fun and exciting few weeks in 2e!
We have been continuing to focus on our connections and learning to play and work together. It has been incredible to see how the students are making eye contact, sharing resources, greeting and farewelling each other and enjoying each others company!
We have been focussing on patterning and colours in our numeracy lessons making patterns with blocks and threading. We have also practiced patterning in our cooking programs making fruit pattern skewers!
We have also been practicing our reading skills by choosing our favourite books in quiet reading as well as sharing our reading time together in our shared reading as a class.
We have also all really enjoyed our music therapy classes
