Captain's Report

This past month has certainly been an exciting, eventful one for everyone.

Notably, the whole school athletics carnival, where despite some uncertain weather conditions, was a successful day with lots of fun and some awesome costumes. Also, sport related was the multitude of year level interschool sport days, as well as the Mullum District Athletics.

Plenty of other amazing non-sport related events happened this past month around the school as well. Such as the Chinese Moon Festival celebrations held by Mr. Yong, where we got to try some tasty treats and snacks, my favourite were the mooncakes. Additionally, our school formals, the year 10, and senior school formal were an amazing opportunity to dress up with our friends and have some fun for a fancy night out. And how can I forget the amazing school production of ‘Almost Maine’ which ran from the 31st of August to the 3rd of September, congratulations to all those involved for putting on such a wonderful show!

At the upper end of the school, especially for the Year 12’s, these past couple weeks have really been pedal to the metal; finishing up content and courses, completing our last sacs ever, attending the GAT, and even already beginning our exam preparations. Not too much longer now!

Wishing for a term 4 for that is just as exciting and enjoyable
