Lake Mountain Ski Trip

The Outdoor and Environmental Studies 10-11 classes enjoyed Cross Country Skiing at Lake Mountain.

It was a tough day for learning to ski. Starting on ungroomed icy trails was challenging. Once we got to some softer snow we practiced our stopping and turning.

We had a glorious lunch spot at the Lookout.

The return trip involved navigating some treacherous corners that had been in shade all day and remained icy.

Everyone had a few falls but other than a broken pole, everyone arrived at the bottom,

with a smile.
