Principal's Notes

Hello everyone

Welcome to this edition of ‘Healesville High Connections’, the ‘almost end of term three’ edition.

As always, there are many interesting articles in this edition and may I thank all writers for their contributions.

Congratulations to the student ‘stars’ – Ella, Erica, Kaitlyn, Celeste, Christopher, Nicolas, Tamara, Sienna and Lily. Each of you should be so proud of your nomination.

School activities, both curricular and extra-curricular really have returned to full operation and many of those activities are reported in this edition. One that is not (it will have its own edition later in the year) is the School Production. Without taking away from the upcoming report I feel compelled to say - what a triumph. Brilliant!

The ‘School of Rock’ was fabulous. The show was so much fun and watching our students on stage, thriving and enjoying what may be the best experiences of their school lives was just so uplifting.

Congratulations to everyone involved.

Thank you to the staff and students featuring in the ‘five questions’ section of this newsletter. It never fails to be interesting, providing us with a little more information about members of our school community.

Thank you to staff and students for all that is being achieved at Healesville High School, both in class and out. The full range of school experiences are being offered to all students, as even a brief glance through this publication will demonstrate. Academic award winners are celebrated, sporting successes are highlighted, Year 7 Food classes and Years 10 and 11 Outdoor Education classes are shown in full swing and the report on the Senior Formal shows clearly what a great success that evening was- just to name a few!

Thank you to all members of our school community for your contributions, and for making this such a vibrant place.  Best wishes for an enjoyable term break.
