Principals' Update

Art Show

Our annual Art Show will be taking place this coming Tuesday. The event will start with a low sensory viewing from 5:00pm till 5:30pm with general viewing with music from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. We encourage all members of the school community, especially our children, to come. The night is all about celebrating the wonderful art that our students have been creating this year, and to raise some funds for the school through a donation on entry. Unfortunately due to a family commitment Keith will not be able to attend however he will be awarding the Principal’s Art Award.

Masks

A reminder to all community members that masks are strongly recommended for all students aged 8 and over. Although case numbers are falling, they are still high and we need to remain mindful of those in our community who are vulnerable.

Hats for warmer weather

Now that the warmer weather is finally upon us, hats need to be worn at recess and lunch time and on outdoor activities and excursions. Please ensure that your child has a named hat with them each day. The wearing of hats in the warmer months is an essential part of staying sun smart while at school.

R U OK? Day

Next Thursday 8th of September is R U OK? Day. R U OK? Day is our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that every day is the day to ask, “are you OK?” and support those struggling with life's ups and downs. We will be reminding students and staff about how they can seek help or be of support to others everyday. You can find more information and resources by following this link

Father’s Day

We would like to wish all of the fathers and special people in our school community a very happy Father’s Day for this Sunday. We hope that you have an enjoyable day.
