Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Carers,

Athletics.

Thank you for the great response to our Athletics carnival on Thursday and also the Jumps and Throws on Tuesday. We were all very proud of the efforts of all students and the support that they gave each other during the day.

To all of the staff, parent helpers, canteen volunteers along with Mrs Foster, Bev and John, our appreciation goes out for what you achieved before and on the day.

Success/Wooyan Mirda were successful winning the Dave Kent Loop Relay shield as well as the overall Athletics shield.

Congratulations to all of our medal recipient winners for each age group.

Some of our students will be representing the school at the Interschool carnival on Thursday 22 September.

TT Rockstars.

Students from many classes were involved with this initiative coordinated by Mrs Walker. Our recent national schools speed recall competition resulted in fast times by our students to help improve the automatic recall of tables. Medals were awarded to a number of students across the year levels. Well done to all of our students who were involved!

Book Week Parade.

There was such a variety of costumes for this year’s parade. It was wonderful seeing so many students explaining who they were and the number of staff who also came as a book or book character. Thank you for your support coming along as an audience and to Ms Tingle [Aladdin’s Assistant] for coordinating the event.

A wonderful display by Ms Gray in the library celebrating the 2022 Book recommendations for libraries was another highlight.

Science Incursions.

Our thanks to the P&C for subsidising our recent Science Week incursions. The students had a great time exploring all of the activities on offer.

Year 2 Assembly.

Congratulations to Mrs Walker and the class on their assembly presentation recently.
