Level 1/2

Thanks to all those who helped set up and run the House Sports Day! The grade 1 and 2 students had a fantastic time doing all the different activities. We did hurdles, sack races, bean bag toss, soccer kick, basketball hoops and tunnel ball. Well done to all the student in Arbor. A well-deserved win this year!
Most Level 1 students have already been to the Melbourne Museum last week, with the Level 2 students going this week. It was a fantastic chance to conclude our Mini-beast topic for this term. Students have really enjoyed exploring and engaging in the topic, whilst learning lots of interesting things and noticing many more bugs and insects in the gardens! Thank you to all the parent helpers on the excursion day, having extra pairs of hands is very helpful on the day. Students also had the chance to experience a short film about bugs, which was viewed in 3D in the IMAX theatre. Many students had a fantastic day and enjoyed being at the museum and exploring a variety of exhibitions.
As we approach the end of the year, students are becoming tired. Please try to encourage early nights as we jump into these last few weeks of school.
