Dollar Donut Day Emerges from Event Reinvention

Senior School students enjoyed an extended lunchtime on Thursday 19th March, to celebrate Harmony Day and the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence.
Although the usual BBQ organised by the Girton Community Action Group was unable to be held, the group, along with Prefects, improvised and created a “dollar donut” event, complete with donuts in individual bags. The students are quickly learning how to implement a range of heightened hygienic food handling measures, while still enjoying much-loved perennial events.
Prefects have been working with their Junior School classrooms on a range of activities to support the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence, including anti-bullying posters, featured in the gallery on this page.
