This is a 6 week free program that is great for parents, care-givers, step parents and/or grandparents providing strategies that work towards better, easier and more fun parenting. It help with such things as; understanding behaviours, and ways for dealing with emotions for parents and children. The program covers such things as;

• Dealing with anger – Deal with our own anger and the anger of our children.
• Technology and our kids – When & how to limit Video Games & Internet use?
• Self care – How to cope with stress & emotions.
• Strategies – Discuss and share skills that work.
• Children’s school – Understand the problems your kids face in School

Western Port Festival

On behalf of the Western Port Festival volunteer organising committee, I write to invite all Primary school age children to enter the ‘Decorated Bike Competition’ 2019.

The ‘Decorated bike competition’ was one of the original events with ‘Hastings Day’ and we look forward to presenting this event at Hastings Foreshore as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations.

We invite children to present their bikes decorated in any theme. This shall be at the Children's Corner and there is a boys and a girls 50cm bike/s to be won with a helmet.
