Sports Report

Sports Day planning has progressed and students should be practising in class for events. A full programme has been sent home to all parents along with the canteen pre-ordered dinner special.

Sprint trials have been held and house captains have prepared chants and the warm up routines.

Cricket

Saturday morning school cricket will resume this week with 2 x Kanga teams, 1 x C Grade and 1 x B Grade. Good luck to all of our teams.

WillPOWER Cup

On Thursday 25th October, Largs Bay School entered a 9-aside team in the WillPOWER Cup held at Alberton Oval. The students designed their own jumper.

The team worked together to determine following:

Team name : Largs Bay Tarnda Warriors ( Kaurna for red kangaroo).

Team Mascot : Tarnda (red kangaroo)

Team Motto : Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.

Team Captain : Byron P

Vice Captain : Harry M

Team Goals :1. Respect each other (sportsmanship)

                        2. Teamwork (help each other)

                        3. Time management (turn up on time and for each game)
