Senior Basketball

On Thursday 20 June, the senior boy’s and senior girls’ basketball teams got to represent the college and compete at Interschool Sports at Dandenong Basketball Stadium.

It was an icy morning with students seeing their breath inside the stadium but very quickly both teams were racing up and down the basketball court to warm up with some fast-paced games being played.

Each team came away with one win under their belts; the boy’s win decided in a nail-biting final few minutes with tech fouls called on the opposing team and free throws awarded to Scoresby.  The collaboration and team work was clearly evident within the girls’ team; all players scoring goals throughout the day.

A big congratulations to all students who participated. In addition to having an absolutely fun day, every student demonstrated excellent integrity, sportsmanship and pride in representing our college.
