Reminders and Important Dates

• Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony: Thursday 15th December (Week 11) 
• Grade 6 Celebration Day: Friday 16th December (Week 11)

Grade 5 - You are all AWESOME!  

The Grade 5/6 teachers would like to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of all Grade 5 students who put themselves out there last week and applied for a 2023 Leadership Role. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Spring Gully Primary School is so lucky to have such a strong group of leaders going into Grade 6 next year. There would have been many students go home disappointed on Friday, but we know you will be awesome leaders whether you have an official title or not. 

Grade 6 - CELEBRATIONS Ahead!  

The Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony and Grade 6 Celebration Day events are both open on Compass and ready for consent and payment. Please see Compass for further details on both upcoming events. 

Graduation Ceremony Timeline:

- 6:00pm: Dinner for Students

- 7:00pm: Parents start to arrive

- 7:20pm: Parents to be seated

- 7:30pm: Graduation Ceremony commences

- 8:45pm: Graduation Ceremony concludes

Upcoming Fortnight 

Despite there being just over a week of school left, there is still a lot happening in the Senior Building! 

We have finished our Reader's Notebook, 'The Borrowers', and plan to follow up with some compare and contrast activities. In Writing, we will be publishing some of our great pieces from the year, and in Maths we will be sharing our mystery problem solving tasks with other teams. 

In Topic, we will be finishing our Consumerism project and putting on an exhibition for the whole Senior Building. Students will be able to show off their new product's packaging, advertising materials and radio and television advertisements to other 5/6 students.
