Science

It has been wonderful to see the students enthusiasm throughout this entire year, from in class discussions to practicals as well as external competitions and excursions. We are of course extremely proud of our Year 12 cohort, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology, who worked hard to revise and consolidate their understanding and knowledge consistently throughout the year. We wish the class of 2022 well as they receive their results and move on into an exciting future.

At the end of Term 3, some of our students selected to be apart of the Australian Science Olympiads to challenge themselves and test their knowledge and understanding of Science beyond the classroom. Every student submitted great work, and the students received their certificates in Year Level Assemblies so they could be acknowledged by their year level. The results are below:

This term, our students have been partaking in many practicals, from dissections to building the solar system to understanding the wildlife around our school! This allows the students to consolidate their knowledge in that area of study, as well as understand it from a hands-on perspective.
