Mathspace

Mathspace is an online mathematics program. Year 7 and 8 maths students at BHHS are among 300,000 students across Australia who use Mathspace as a learning resource in their maths classes. Mathspace uses an adaptive learning   model to personalize the learning experience for each student. The questions presented to a student are chosen by an algorithm that responds to past performance, and student input is evaluated to provide feedback on their progress within each problem. Additional support is offered in the form of hints and video tutorials to guide them to the solution.

Milly Foley (Year 8) was a winner of the Mathspace Transformative 20 award this year. This is a national awards program designed to celebrate exceptional students who demonstrated continuous improvement. Congratulations Milly!
