Juniors Wrap Up

It was fantastic to finally have a full season of hockey after two years of disruption. We had some great results on the field with two of our teams making finals and even though some teams finished further down the ladder, everyone still had a very enjoyable season.

This year we fielded 11 junior teams with most teams finishing the year in the top half of the ladder. The U16 Boys had a successful season and finished second on the ladder but unfortunately lost their semi final. The U14 girls also had a great year under Sandy Marshall and Annabel Kennedy and were runners up in the grand final (photo above). Well done, to both those teams!

Thank you to everyone who helped run the juniors section this year; coaches, managers, parents and players. A big thank you also to all those players who were ball kids throughout the year, you did an amazing job!

A particularly HUGE thank you to Sandy Marshall who helped me coordinate the juniors this year. Sandy is the most passionate and supportive person in the Club and we are so lucky to have her as part of the TEM family. Thank you, Sandy!

HC Melbourne Experience

At the end of the season, some of our U8 players were lucky enough to be part of the action at a HC Melbourne game. They formed a guard of honour for the players in the women's and men's matches, played a mini game at half time and  and Phoebe and George were even lucky enough to do the coin toss before the game too! The kids all had a ball and loved being able to watch the games from the stands.
