ANZAC Day 2023

On April 25th, along with many other Australians, we paid respect to those who served and sacrificed, in the name of Australia and New Zealand.

We attended the ceremony and felt proud to represent Ballarat High School. We listened to stories of our own ANZAC soldiers and watched ceremonial traditions, such as the mounting of the catafalque party.

We then laid a wreath on behalf of Ballarat High School and watched as many others also acknowledged the sacrifices everyday Australians made.

The day was solemn and full of reflection, but also it was clear that within that was love and appreciation.
