A celebration of our creativity
We have made an absolutely joyful start to Term 2 in Visual Arts. We have wrapped up our Pablo Picasso study and have celebrated by creating some truly spectacular work. We have since moved on to learning about the four new Australian artists/illustrators. Our Prep students are studying the work of Philip Bunting, 1/2 students are enjoying learning about Aaron Blabey, the 3/4 students are immersing themselves in the shapes and colours of Pete Cromer, while the 5/6 students are looking deeper at the complex characters and compositions of Shaun Tan.
FEATURED ARTIST
At our upcoming art show, we are looking to celebrate the art that students complete at home or as extra curricular activities.
We are inviting students who love art and have a unique perspective, to share to enter 3-5 of their art pieces through an online form. We would love to showcase at least one artist from every level to have a special section at the Art Show.
