Fete Committee Update

Planning is well underway for planning for Fete Day Saturday 7 October. We have listened to your feedback and are pleased to announce not only will we have more rides than ever including a bigger family zone and rides for littles ones but the Animal Farm entry will now be included with wristband purchases.

We are on target for our fundraising goal but with a few sponsors unable to recommit this year we are on the search for new sponsors, new committee members and stall co-ordinators!

Stall Leaders/Co-ordinators

For years we have been blessed to have the same volunteers take charge of our stalls. With many Parish Members stepping down and families who have left the school we are looking for 10 Stall Leaders for Fete Day.

Leaders are NOT required to work on stall all day but to help organise the volunteers. The stalls include: Poffertjes, Donuts, Devonshire Tea, BBQ, Hot Chips, Coffee, Trash & Treasure, Face Painting, Books and Toys.

Please contact us if you are interested in learning more or know a local club or group that would like to get involved (ie Sports Club)

Toy Stall Drive

Thank you to everyone for your kind donations to our Toy Drive. We have taken feedback on board for next year.

It was wonderful to see all the children proudly showing each other their donations; embracing generosity, friendship and the Spirit of giving!

The Fete Committee appreciates each toy that will make our stall on Fete Day a true highlight and success. Thank you to P&F for helping organise the toys and Kathryn Newman for her leadership.

Mystery Jar Day

Friday 9 June

One of the most Popular Stalls at Fete, our annual Mystery Jar Free Dress Day is coming up in June. Make sure to save your glass jars and fill with fun items and treats – remember no nuts please!

Sponsorship Opportunities

We would love to promote local and family owned business’ and have our community support those who support us! Advertising is for 12 months through to February the following year. With EOFY approaching it’s a perfect tax deduction so check with your accountant!

There is room for another major sponsor and our social media package is awesome value!

Fete Committee

The Fete Committee is made up of current and past school parents and members of the wider Holy Spirit Parish community. With many key members stepping down and retiring we are on the search for new members. This is a great year to dip your toe in and see what it is all about without the pressure of a specific role and to have fun!
