Easter Bonnet Parade

We are looking forward to our annual Easter Bonnet parade which will be held on Wednesday 5th April on the basketball court at 9.05am. On compass we sent out a link of some creative ideas of what your child’s Easter Bonnet might look like – we encourage you to assemble these at home. It’s going to be fantastic to see all the different variations!

House Points

We’re getting to the pointy end (haha get it?) of the term! Every single House Point counts as we will be announcing our term 1 house winner of all the points combined. This will be announced at our final assembly at the end of the day on Wednesday 5th April following on from the Easter Bonnet parade.

‘Cool to be at school’

We'll be posting some photos and videos on the school Facebook. There are some mini interviews with our winners throughout the term - be sure to have a look to get to know these legends!

SRC

In our first official meeting we started to discuss our school gardens- what we like about them and what we would like to improve. Our representatives will follow this conversation on in their classrooms to get ideas from other students and hopefully put some plans into action!

Cleanaway Australia Session

This week we have had an education session focused around the environment and impacts around littering. Cleanaway are bringing one of their trucks for students to look at and learn about how they work. We feel so lucky to have this opportunity and hope our students gained some valuable knowledge about how waste is dealt with.
