Enhancing Catholic Identity Survey
A news article was circulated via Compass, with details regarding a Victoria wide, Catholic Identity Survey. We require 68 families to participate. It’s a great chance to give insight and thoughts on our Catholicity. Your opinions will help drive improvements and growth at our St. Mary’s school. There is still time to complete this survey and share your thoughts.
Holy Week
The students and staff from Years 5 & 6 did an amazing job during our Holy Week Liturgy. The Years F-4 respectfully listened and got to see all the events from Palm Sunday through to Jesus’ death and eventual disappearence from the tomb. It was great that this event could support their further understanding of the symbols involved and the Sacred Scripture.

Prayer
Let us be thankful, for the little things-
The song of birds, the smell of the rose;
Cloud-dappled skies, the laugh of children,
Drowned sunbeams and the perfume April blows;
Bronze wheat a -shimmer, purple shades of trees-
Let us be thankful for all of these!
Let us be praiseful, Jesus, for simple sights;
The blue smoke curling in the air along the street,
Keen stars sparkling on frosty, camping nights,
Daisies dew-diamond like,
For simple sights, Let us praise you.
Let us be grateful God, for holidays serene,
The hope to do a kindly deed each day;
The faith and will to walk in witness, to do our part
Let us be grateful to God, with a humble heart.
Amen
