WE REMEMBER OUR LOVED ONES IN NOVEMBER

Remembrance Day

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.

If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields

Today we commemorated the 101st anniversary of Remembrance Day. On this day we give thanks for and remember the supreme sacrifice that many men and women made so that we could live in a democratic and peaceful world.

Sunday Masses

The Parish is taking bookings for Weekend Masses - 20 parishioners

While we are still unable to attend mass in large numbers, there are some options available. St. Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne have announced that the 11am Sunday Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral will continue to be televised free to air on C31 as well as live streamed on their website and YouTube channel

The Oblate of Mary Immaculate are also continuing to serve their community during this time. Masses and Prayer Services are live-streamed from many of their churches/seminaries to cater for their communities.
