As of today the Jolly Sole Sock fundraiser has made us a small profit of around $406.00.  This is a great effort considering how much of a challenge it has been to sell socks outside of our even smaller circles.  A big thank you goes out to Raathika for all the hard work and dedication to try and make this work through a pandemic.

With restrictions easing a little we have been able to organise some small social gatherings.  Our next coffee catch up is Monday at 9:15am at the Café by the Little Gourmet Food Company.  We are still limited to a number of 10 people but it will be a welcome get together for this small group.  Ladies night is Saturday 14th and Men’s night Friday 27th November at the Peppermill Inn.  We have 2x tables of 10 booked (20 total).  It is important at this time for all social events that we RSVP via the office so that we know how many are coming and can let these local business be prepared.

Wednesday night was the last community group meeting before our AGM in December where we hope to get new members along to join.  All positions will be available as listed below:-

  • Executive
    • President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary
  • Other Members
    • Pastoral Care Delegate Coordinator, Social Events Organiser, School Event Organiser, Second-hand School Uniform Coordinator/s, Book Club Coordinator, Meals/Catering Organiser.

A list of what the roles entail can be obtained from the school office.  We are also looking at finding our Pastoral Care Delegate Sub-committee.  This group of parents/carers help welcome new families and work with staff when pastoral care is needed for our school families. Within this group we have a Births Facilitator (welcoming new babies into the community) and Pastoral Care/Bereavement Facilitator (coordinating any assistance we can provide to families in need). We are also asking for at least 2 foundation classroom delegates to assist in the welcoming of new families to the school.

If you would like any more information please contact the office or myself on 0417 590 564.
