End of Year Liturgy

On Thursday 10 December our End of Year Liturgy marked the end of our 2020 school year by giving thanks to God. We welcomed Peter Burgess, Central Council President of St Vincent de Paul to accept our gifts of food for the Vinnies Christmas Hampers and the gifts each Homegroup donated for teenagers in our local area. Peter said the generosity of the Kildare Community filled him with joy. He also reminded us that the St Vincent de Paul Society was founded over 170 years ago by a 20 year old university student and a group of his friends, as they saw a need and did something about it. Peter invited members of the Kildare Community to get involved so that Vinnies can continue to do "good works" for those in our community most in need.
