Years One/Two News 

Welcome!

The Years One/Two team would like to congratulate all of our students on the way they have settled so beautifully into the new year. Calm, purposeful learning has been evident in all classrooms as we work to establish routines, expectations and a successful learning environment. 

Our Reading focus has been on establishing independent routines and building stamina as readers, while in Writing we have looked at how to develop Successful Sentences. In Maths we have been exploring the concepts around place value, including how to read, write, order, make and break numbers.
