Year 7 Philanthropic Project: Supporting Friends of Hudad

Excitement is building in Year 7 as students are about to launch their annual philanthropic project. This year the project is aimed at supporting the Friends of Hudad. The foundation is close to our hearts as is lead by our local NHS community member and parent, Jenny Ouliaris. The organisation are raising money to build a school in a remote mountainous area of Ethopia. It aims to provide education and environmental, social and economic sustainability for members of the community.

Year 7 Students will be running a series of events to support the Friends of Hudad throughout Term Three, culminating in a charity walk in Term Four. This walk will replicate the hardships and lengths that these Ethiopian children endure on a daily basis to gain access to education.
