Italy Trip 2017

On Friday 25 March, a group of 23 students and 4 teachers set on a trip to meet with our sister school, Panzini in Senigallia, Italy. We visited Rome, Florence, Assissi, Pisa, before spending time in Senigallia. The students forged strong relationships with their host families. As a group, we visited the surrounding areas of Senigallia such as Loreto, Recanati and Cingoli. We were hosted by the Italian Maria Caroli who took us everywhere. We were guided by our host students who joined us for unforgettable memories in the Puglia region. Our final stop was Venice before flying home to Melbourne on Easter Sunday. Many thanks to all those involved in the planning and management of the trip, especially Maria Caroli from Australia, Andrew Mollica and Joanne (‘Giovanna’) Pegoraro. We are forever indebted to you. Thank you especially to the students and families of CRC Sydenham. The students represented our school and Australia as great ambassadors. We are grateful that each of the families entrusted us with the care of your sons and daughters. We await the return trip of our host students next year. Grazie mille!
